Where we are
The location of the CNISM is inside the Department of Physics of the Third University of Rome (Università degli Studi Roma Tre) on the ground floor, cloister corner; The Department of Physics is in the south-west area of Rome, in Via della Vasca Navale 84, behind Viale Marconi close to the Marconi Bridge.
By car– coming from the centrum of Rome, after Marconi Bridge, turn right at the first crossing; the road descending on a slope is Via della Vasca Naval; coming from the EUR area (south), follow Viale Marconi until entering, on the left, via Pincherle at the end of which, on the right Via della Vasca Navale starts. A large parking area for more than 500 cars is in front of the building in the area of the ex OMI.
By public transport – take Linea B of the subway to the station of Basilica di S. Paolo. Then on Via Baldelli, take the bus 670 in the direction of Largo Murialdo. This stops right in front of the building. Otherwise bus 23 also stops in Largo Murialdo at around 100 meters from the building. Note that if you reach Rome by train, you find the Linea B of the subway (direction Laurentina) at Termini train station, so to reach the station of Basilica di S. By plane– from Fiumicino airport you can reach Termini train station with the Leonardo Express train. Here take the Linea B of the subway (direction Laurentina) to the station of Basilica di S.Paolo; by car one follows the Fiumicino-Roma motorway, exit Magliana-Centro; then take Via della Magliana up to Piazza Meucci where, on the right, one finds Lungotevere degli Inventori and then Ponte Marconi (North -> South direction on the map below).
